A Red Deer woman faces 10 charges related to an alleged armed robbery at the Eckville Hotel Bar where bar patrons were held at gunpoint on Feb. 22.
Sylvan Lake RCMP responded to an armed robbery at the bar around 4:35 p.m. Two suspects fled the scene before police arrived.
Several people in the bar were held at gunpoint while the suspects robbed the bar.
No one was injured and no shots were fired.
An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
Krista Marie Rix, 31, of Red Deer, is charged with robbery with a firearm, six counts of forcible confinement, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, possession of break-in instruments and three counts of failure to comply with recognizance.
Rix is remanded in custody and is set to appear in Red Deer provincial court today.
