Videos of a woman licking products at a central Alberta grocery store have gone viral.
Three videos, posted recently by TikTok user dkph81, feature a woman walking through the No Frills in Innisfail while picking up and licking multiple items.
“I licked it all,” she said during a 10-second video.
“I am so done with COVID.”
Two of three videos have been viewed more than one million times and have received thousands of likes on the social media app. The third video featuring the woman has 86,000 views.
The head office of Loblaw Companies Ltd. offered the following statement:
“We are aware of the incident and have been in touch with the store who has assured that all affected products have been discarded and extra sanitization has taken place. While unfortunate, these types of incidents are rare. We commend the team at the store for their swift and thoughtful action to keep everyone safe and healthy at this time.”
