Williams is conducting free women’s car care clinics at about 40 locations across the country this spring. She is spending about one week in Alberta on her the western swing of her cross country tour. Seventeen women participated at the Sylvan Lake session, learning the basics of a 10-minute road trip check-up, which includes checking the oil, and fluid levels, tire pressure and condition of tires, checking hoses and belts, wiper blades and lighting. Williams also stressed the importance of keeping your vehicle properly tuned in order to reduce fuel costs and produce lower emissions.
