City of Red Deer parks labourer Rick Cochrane hangs several strings of lights on a tree in City Hall Park earlier this week. Parks department employees are enjoying the warm November weather as the do a task that can be a miserable undertaking in seasonal temperatures. Last year, parks employees hung 30,000 LED bulbs outside City Hall and anticipate hanging many more than that this year, according to head gardener Joe Pelz.
