A woman died in a single-vehicle rollover on Hwy 2 near Bowden this morning. Innisfail RCMP Const. Mark MacDougald said the woman was driving north when her SUV left the road and rolled in the median in front of the Bowden Refinery at about 7 a.m.

The search continues for a suspect believed to have used an explosive to rob a jewellery store in Olds on Thursday morning. RCMP were called to Stevens Jewellery at 5014 50th Ave. at 10:15 a.m. after staff reported that a robbery attempt was underway and they believed the suspect was carrying an explosive.
