Sanctuary in the city

An untitled painting of poplar trees is part of the show Sanctuary in the City: Portraits of the Urban Forest by Janet Cole on display until May 2 in the Red Deer Public Library downtown branch’s Kiwanis Gallery. The public is welcome to attend a meet-the-artist party on April 26 from 2 to 4 p.m., where Cole will talk about her art and the city’s urban forests.
