PASMAN

Aart Pasman was born on Nov 25, 1932 in Putten, The Netherlands. He passed into glory on November 20, 2009 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Aart will be forever remembered by his loving wife Wendy of fifty years and their three sons: Jerry & Anita, Dirk & Annette, Hans & Conni. His grandchildren: Michael (Ashlynn), Spenser, Alisha, Christy, Mabel, Tasha, Jayden, Robyn, Kelsey and one great grandson Grady. He will also be fondly remembered by his brothers and a sister, brother-inlaws and sister-inlaws, nieces and nephews. Aart and Wendy immigrated from the Netherlands with their family to Iron Springs, Alberta in September 1971. They moved to Rocky Mountain House in May of 1976 where they started a dairy farm. They farmed until 1984 and then moved just up the road (to their current home) to hobby farm and "enjoy" life a little more with the children, grandchildren and his great grandson. Aart's greatest love was his family and he also enjoyed playing cards and going to town. He will be greatly missed and remembered forever! Funeral service to be held at the Covenant Christian Reformed Church, Rocky Mtn House on Thursday, Nov 26 at 1:00 pm. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made in Aart's name to the Volunteer Services, Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Ave. Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2.
