OSADCA Adam Steven It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Adam Steven Osadca. Adam passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at the age of 73. Adam was born February 13, 1935 in Tarnopol, Poland. He spent his working years as a machinist in Poland and across Canada. Adam liked walking the trails in Red Deer, fishing, and visiting Kananaskis Country but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed his summer trip to Poland this year where he reconnected with old friends, relived his tennis memories and walked in the mountains. Adam's memory will be cherished by his wife Helena, his son, Jerry (Janice) Osadca and daughters Margaret (Ron) Teske and Dorothy (Slawek) Praglowski, his grandchildren Michael and David Osadca, Olek Praglowski, and Paulina and Stefan Teske, sisters Mary (Donald) Cook, Donna Tur and brother Jerry (Helen) Osadca. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. Adam will also be missed by many close friends. Adam was predeceased by his parents, Stefan and Michalina, beloved son Gregory (2003) and brother Joseph (2002). Visitation will be at Serenity Funeral Home, #109 4810-43A Avenue, Leduc, Alberta on Friday, December 26 from 1 to 3 p.m. Visitation will also be held at Needham Funeral Chapel, 520 Dundas Street, London, Ontario on Sunday, December 28, 2008 from 2 to 5 p.m. Funeral service will held on Monday, December 29, 2008 at 11 am. Internment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to The Canadian Lung Association or to the charity of your choice.
