It is with heavy hearts and immense sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Agnes Irene Mechalchuk on Saturday November 21st, 2009 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital, at the age of 47 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her godchild Tara Reimer of Red Deer. Agnes is survived by her brothers, Bill and Tim; her sisters, Rita and Cindy, as well as her Aunt Ruth (Bill). Agnes will be missed by her special friends Donna Lovell, Julie Buelow, Mickey Phillips, Larry Boyd; and her longtime friends Pat (Dorothy) Klein. She also leaves to mourn her passing numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Agnes was predeceased by her parents Margaret and Bill , her sister Dana, and her brother Dale. A Memorial Service for the late Agnes Mechalchuk will be held on Wednesday November 25th, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 - 67A Street, Red Deer, AB. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Agnes's memory may be made to Special Olympics Canada, #700- 60 St. Clair Avenue, Toronto, ON, M4T 1N5. In living memory of Agnes Mechalchuk a tree will be planted in the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium Memorial Tree Park in the Red Deer County, AB.
