SWARBRICK

Alan Maxwell 1921-2009

Alan Swarbrick passed away peacefully on December 3, 2009 at the Lacombe Hospital after a lengthy illness. Alan leaves a host of friends and acquaintances from his active life in Lacombe and surrounding community where he lived and worked for over 60 years, his square dancing activities, his travelling locally and overseas and his doing "odd jobs" around the neighbourhood. He leaves to mourn his spouse of 65 years, Pearl, and children, Dick (Sue) and Ellen (Wayne). He is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren plus his siblings, Freda, Cliff, Lorne, Earle, and Ed and their families as well as families of his predeceased siblings Betty and Glen. Funeral Services will be held from Wilson's Funeral Chapel, 6120 Highway 2A, Lacombe on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 2:00 PM. Cremation has taken place. If friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Alberta Lung Association, P.O. Box 4700 STN South, Edmonton, AB. T6E 9Z6. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to
