Albert Melvin "Mel" McEachern of Lloydminster, beloved husband of Betty McEachern, passed away peacefully at the Lloydminster Hospital on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at the age of 84 years. He leaves to mourn his loving wife, Betty; son, Rick McEachern and his wife, Jane of Lloydminster, AB; his daughter, Carol Sadlemyer and her husband, Bob of Olds, AB; grandchildren, Bradley Sadlemeyer (Amanda), Jessica McEachern (Travis Cockrum), Myles McEachern, and Amanda Sadlemyer (Brandon Besaw); also great grandchildren, Rebecca and Robert Sadlemyer, Kenley Cockrum; and numerous other relatives and friends. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from Sunnybrook United Church, 12 Stanton Street, Red Deer with Reverend Linda Ervin officiating. Interment will follow at Alto Reste Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mel's honor may be made directly to the charity of the donor's choice.
