Albert Morgan

1927 - 2014

Albert passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on Monday, May 5th, 2014 at the age of 87 years. He was born on March 3rd, 1927 in the Gaetz district, where he attended school. In 1947, he relocated to Red Deer where he wanted to become an Auto Mechanic. He obtained a building construction job to fill in until a mechanical job became available. He obtained his journeyman carpenter certificate and worked for Western Builders until the owner retired. He then worked for five years on the Red Deer Hospital expansion and three years on the current Court House and Remand Center, and then he retired. Albert was a jolly, likable person. He was predeceased by his wife, Isabel in 2004, his father, Harvey Morgan in 1983, and his mother, Annie Amelia in 1989. Albert is survived by his brothers; Stanley of Red Deer Michener Extended Care and Raymond (Ruth) of the Gaetz district, also many nieces, nephews, and relatives. Albert had requested cremation and no funeral. His ashes will be interred beside his late wife Isabel's in the Gaetz Cemetery, Clearwater County. Albert will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. He moved into the Lodge in September of 2011 and we would like to thank all the staff at the Pines Lodge for all the special care given to Albert.
