June 26, 1929 - July 10, 2018
It is with great sadness we announce Albert Stang passed away July 10, 2018 in Red Deer at the age of 89. Albert was born June 26, 1929 in Macklin, Saskatchewan to Leopold and Mary Stang.

Albert will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife Jannette (Prediger); children Joe Stang, Jacquie (Cory) Daumont, Tom (Kara) Stang, Brian (Lisa) Stang; grandchildren Madison, Ava, Presley, and Hudson; his surving siblings, numerous extended family and friends. One of twelve children, Albert grew up in Central Alberta, and worked 32 years for the County of Ponoka up to his retirement in 1994. His favourite past time was time spent with family, holidaying, travelling and camping. Albert was a huge sports fan, and enjoyed both playing and watching sports, especially if it was the Edmonton Oilers or Toronto Bluejays. He was also his children's and grandchildren's biggest fan at all their events.

Celebration of Albert's life will take place Tuesday July 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 6 McMillan Avenue, Red Deer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at www.jdrf.ca. Thank you to the wonderful staff and residents of the West Park Lodge, for his care during his time there. Condolences can be made to the family at www.eventidefuernalchapel.com.
