ZACHARUK Alberta "Bertie" was suddenly taken from us on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at the age of 60. She is survived by her loving husband Paul; daughter Kirstina (McGregor) Zacharuk and her children: Christopher, Elizabeth and Ashleigh McGregor; son Andrew Zacharuk, all of Kelowna; two sisters: Bobbie (Bert) Schweitzer of Calgary and Terry-Lynn Stark of Red Deer and their families. Alberta was predeceased by her father Thomas, mother Irene, brother Tom, niece Becky, and her infant son Christopher. She was known and appreciated for her caring contributions to family, friends and community, especially minor hockey and Girl Guides. Bertie was also a member of Alberta Rebekah Lodge No. 77. Alberta loved and adored her husband, children and grandchildren, all of whom will dearly miss her. A memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 20th, 2:00 pm at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Red Deer, AB, followed by a reception in the Church Hall.
