Aleta SHERIDAN

SHERIDAN Aleta (Lea) Marie (nee Cheasley) of Kamloops, peacefully passed away at the Kamloops Seniors Village on Nov. 24, 2007 at the age of 82 years. Lea was born on March 26, 1925 in Alexander, Manitoba. She lived in Winnipeg MB for the first 7 years of her marriage, then moving with her husband Darrel to Red Deer Alberta where they lived for 15 years. She made many good friends in Red Deer and enjoyed raising her children there. Lea served three years in the Canadian Women's Army Corp. during World War II; service she was very proud of. Lea's greatest joy was her family and she was especially happy when she could gather them around her for a celebration. She will be very sadly missed by her husband of 60 years, Darrel, and her three children Wayne (Elizabeth) of Victoria, Sharen (Tom) Whitburn of Winnipeg and Judy (Malcolm) Martin of Kamloops. Lea was particularly proud of her 7 beautiful grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters. Lea loved a party, she loved to laugh and make others laugh.
