Alfred RAABIS

RAABIS Alfred Carl Raabis of Bentley, Alberta, chose on December 24th, 2006, to go and live in the light. This loving, gentle, and joyful man leaves behind his wife Judy Raabis, a woman he adored and felt honoured to share his life with. His deeply loved son Chris Raabis who made him laugh till he cried and who he was immensely proud of. His "precious little dollies" Ayla, Lily, and Rosy, the granddaughters who brought him incredible joy and laughter. His daughter-in-law Bernice Raabis, his teacher and debating partner who he loved as his own daughter. Alfred also leaves behind his brothers and sisters, Norm Raabis, Jim Raabis, Carl Sims, Pat Gay, and their wonderful families. He leaves behind too many friends to mention as he touched the lives of countless people. Alfie's spirit shall live on for eternity. If desired, donations can be made in Alfred's name to the Hoffman Institute, 109 Edgehill Drive, Kitchener, Ontario, N2P 2C6. A memorial service will be held for Alfie at the Blindman Valley Ag Centre in Bentley, Alberta on December 29th at 2:00.
