Alice BLOOMFIELD

BLOOMFIELD Alice Emily Bloomfield (Waud) was born in Altario, Alberta on March 17, 1920. She moved to Lacombe area in 1936 and has remained in this area all her life. Alice married Ray Bloomfield on June 17, 1950 at Calvary Evangelical Free Church. She passed away on March 3, 2006 in the Lacombe Hospital. Alice is remembered by all who knew her as a warm and loving person. Everyone who entered her home felt welcomed and was glad to be there. Alice is survived by Ray, her loving and devoted husband of 55 years, their six children: Derryl (Kim) of Fiji, Lorne of Lacombe, Lily Lynn (Allan) McCrindle of Merville, BC, Pearl (Dwight) Hyndman of Lacombe, June (Darrell) Spelay of Campbell River, BC, and Reg (Kim) of Lacombe. Alice's 21 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren will also very much miss their Grandma. Alice is also survived by her sister Hazel Winslow of Ponoka and Larry (Judy) Waud of Lacombe. Alice is predeceased by her Mother and Daddy (Lillian and Harry Waud of Lacombe), and her step grandson, Shane Hyndman. Alice set a wonderful example, to her family and all those who knew her, of a Christian wife, mother, and grandmother. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Evangelical Free Church, 4619 C & E Trail, Lacombe, Alberta.
