SHORT Alice Emilia Jevne Short (nee Dahms) passed away peacefully in the Bentley Care Centre on Saturday December 15, 2007 at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by her husband Tustan in 1965, her second husband Harley Short in 1989 and by brothers Raymond, Russell and Loius, Alice is survived by her loving children; Gloria (Fred) Peterson, Carl (Gloria) Jevne, Pat Chattaway, Judy Jones, Tustan (Rhonda) Jevne, brothers Chester (Doris) Dahms), Ivan (Ester) Dahms, one sister; Elvira Englbloom, sisters-in-law; Dorothy Dahms, Josephine Reid, Velma Jevne and Marion Jevne. Alice is also the proud grandmother of fourteen, great grandmother of twenty-six and great great grandmother of one. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends. Memorial services will be held from the Jehovah's Witness Kingdon Hall in Rimbey, Alberta on Saturday January 5, 2008 at 1:00 PM with Brian Ellenthorpe officiating. If friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Bentley Care Centre.
