Alison Gayle ROBERTS (nee Johanson)

Alison Gayle Roberts

(née Johanson)

Oct. 4th, 1980 – July 2nd, 2017

Alison Gayle Roberts was born October 4th, 1980, in Camrose, AB, and passed away in Sylvan Lake, AB on July 2nd, 2017 at the age of 36. She leaves to mourn her passing: husband Kent Roberts, parents Brian and Dorothy Johanson, siblings Jennifer (Mark) Jacobsen, Wendy (Don) Chambers, and Trevor (Sonja) Johanson, her in-laws Ken and Linda Roberts, and brothers-in-law Brett (Amrita) Roberts, and Todd Roberts, nine nieces and seven nephews, as well as her Grandma Braim, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. She was predeceased by Grandpa and Grandma Johanson, Grandpa Braim, auntie Joyce Knudsen, and cousin Matthew Braim. Even though her life was cut short suddenly, she was able to experience a lot. And through her trials and struggles, her mountaintops and valleys, she had a strong love for her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, wanting to follow Him for all her days. Her compassion and care for others was very evident in how she lived. If friends and family so desire, memorial tributes may be made on Alison’s behalf to Teen Challenge GTA (Ontario), Mental Health, or any charity of their choice.

A Celebration of Alison’s life will be held at the Living Stones Church, 2020 40ave, Red Deer, AB on Saturday, July 8th, 2017 at 2:00pm with a lunch to follow. A private family interment took place at the Kuusamo Cemetery.
