1934 - 2024
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Allan Kenneth "Addie" Jamieson on May 5, 2024 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre at the age of 89 years. He was born on October 3, 1934 in Welwyn, Saskatchewan. Addie married Denice Rookes on June 29, 1957. They raised three children, Randy, Howard and Troy. In 1999 Addie retired and spent much of his time golfing and following his grandchildren's sports and the Calgary Flames.
Addie was pre-deceased by his parents, Gregor and Bea, brothers, Garry and Harvey. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Denice, sister, Phyllis Crosson, brother, Lorne Jamieson, sons, Randy (Janice), Howard (Wanda) and Troy (Susan), twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
