Mr. Allan Waldie of Red Deer, Alberta passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 21st, 2009 at the age of 78. Allan was born on August 12, 1931 in Drumheller, Alberta. Allan spent his early years on the family farm in Drumheller and in the Bluffton, Alberta area. He came to Red Deer at the age of 27. Allan is survived by his sister, Irene of Wisconsin, his special niece, Susan (Dan) and numerous nieces and nephews. Allan will be sadly missed, but lovingly remembered by all who knew him. A funeral service will be held for Allan at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 - 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Wednesday, October 28th, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be held at Hoadley Cemetery.
