Allen Garth Radford of Sylvan Lake passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Hospice on Sunday, January 29th, 2012 at the age of 64. Despite a long courageous battle with cancer Al continued to be optimistic and vibrant. Al spent his last few days with family and close friends. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Delores; daughter Leisa Radford (Edmonton); son Chance (Telissa) Radford (Sylvan Lake); daughter Shelley Teeter (Sylvan Lake); daughter Sheri-Lynn Teeter (Calgary); five grandchildren Chelsea-Lee, Jay-Allen, Cara-Lynn, Kaylee, Quiana. She is also survived by brothers George (Marion), Bill (Martha), Cliff (Sharon), Terry (Dorothy), and Reg (Lauralyn); sisters Kay (Wally), Carol (Ralph), and Bernice (Steve), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Jack (1973), his mother, Ethel (2003), his sister, Eleanor (1948), and his brother, John (2009). Anyone wishing to pay their respects may do so at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Red Deer on Monday, February 6, 2012 from 10:30 A.M. - 12:30 p.m. A Funeral Service for the late Allen Radford will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Red Deer on Monday February 6, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. Lunch to be followed in the Marquis room of the Harvest Center at Westerner Park. The Inurnment will be held at the West Meadows Cemetery, Sylvan Lake (4001-60 St) on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made in Allen's name to the Red Deer Hospice, 99 Arnot Avenue, Red Deer, AB T4R 3S6
