WIK Alma Pearl 1908-2008 Alma passed away February 11, 2008 at the Bethany Care Centre in Airdrie, Alberta at the age of 99. Lovingly remembered by her children, Elmer (Isabelle) Wik, Huxley, Alberta, Roy (Sonia) Wik, Calgary, Alberta, Sonia Kennedy, Airdrie, Alberta, Lila (Rob) Pearce, Sherwood Park, Alberta, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grand children, her sister Marie, brother Gunnar, her family in Norway and many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Arild, sons Peder and Alf and daughter Glenna. The family would like to thank Dr. Dewaal and the staff at Bethany Care Centre for the kindness and care they have shown Alma and her family. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 16th, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the Huxley Community Hall. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of choice.
