HOFFOS, Alvin Arthur It is with sadness that the family of Alvin Hoffos announce his quiet passing at the Red Deer Hospital on Friday, March 9, 2007 at the age of 91. Alvin is lovingly remembered by his wife, Grace, his sons Earl (Millie) and Lorens (Nancy) and his daughter Elaine (Ron) Weisenburger; four grandchildren, Scott (Jennie), Lynn (Steve), Tyler (Chantel) and Rachelle; and two great granddaughters, Ayden and Abby. His service in the Canadian Army during World War II, his many years of farming with his family in the Kneehill Valley district, camping, fishing, traveling, and an enjoyable retirement in Innisfail has left the community with many friends, neighbours and relatives to remember his life. Funeral services for the late Alvin Hoffos will be held at the Innisfail United Church on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at 2:00 PM, with interment to follow in the Innisfail Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Innisfail Hospital Memorial Fund or the charity of one's choice.
