ANDERSON, 1932 - 2007 Mr. Robert Floyd Anderson, beloved husband of Mrs. Jean Anderson of Red Deer, passed away at his home on Monday, January 29, 2007 at the age of 74 years. Robert was born on October 25, 1932 at Regina, Saskatchewan. He spent the majority of his career life working in the Oilfield in various positions. Robert was a man of great strength of character; he was very firm and determined in his ways but he was also a man who loved his family and had a big heart. He was eager to help everyone with most any problem or need and had a knack for just about any handyman chore that came along, as well as puttering around in his garage. Robert loved golfing, enjoyed watching hockey on television and attending the Red Deer Rebels games. Robert will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered and forever cherished in the hearts of his family and dear friends. Robert leaves to mourn his loss, his loving wife of fifty-three years, Jean of Red Deer, his children, Robert Anderson Jr. of Crossfield, Alberta, Barbara Anderson and Vicki (Brian) Blasko, all of Red Deer, three grandchildren, Paul Anderson, Rachel Anderson and Logan Anderson, and his great grandson, Landen. He is also survived by six brothers and three sisters, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Robert was predeceased by a brother and two sisters. A Public Celebration of Robert's Life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 - 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, February 5, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
