BEEKMAN Ann (Antoinetta) (nee Van Gronningen) passed away peacefully on January 29, 2005 in her home. She is survived by her children Ann Cartledge of Calgary, John (Karie) of Red Deer, Henry (Frances) of Trochu, Louise (Carl) Gundlach of Drumheller, Frank (Sylvia) of Kelowna, Mary (Terry Web) Spencer of Three Hills and daughter-in-law, Lisa Delorme of Rocky Mountain House. She will be missed by her sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Ann was predeceased by her son, Tony, in 1991 and her husband John in 1995. Ann was born on July 16, 1922 in Lobith, The Netherlands and married to John on May 16, 1950. They immigrated to Canada in 1953 and moved to Trochu in February 1960. She was actively involved with the Catholics Womens' League as well as the Trochu Hospital Auxiliary, holding lifetime memberships. Prayers to be held Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at 7:30 PM at the St. Anne's Catholic Church, Trochu. Funeral service to be held Thursday, February 3, 2005 at 11:00 AM St. Anne's Catholic Church, Trochu. In lieu of flowers memorial tributes may be made to St. Mary's Health Care Centre or the Trochu Hospital Auxiliary PO Box 100, Trochu, Alberta T0M 2C0.
