Mrs. Anne-Marie Hazanoff (nee Schjelle) of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away peacefully at the Bethany Care Centre, Sylvan Lake, Alberta on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the age of 87 years. Anne-Marie was born on March 30, 1927 at Oslo, Norway. She came to Canada on vacation, where she met and married Victor Hazanoff in Montreal. The couple lived and raised their family in Montreal until moving to Red Deer fifteen years ago. Sadly, Anne-Marie lost her beloved daughter, Lisa six years ago and then lost her soul mate, Victor five months ago. Anne-Marie will be lovingly remembered by her son, Michael (Diane) Hazanoff of Red Deer. A Celebration of Anne-Marie's Life will be held at the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 - 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Anne-Marie's honor may be made directly to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta at www.alzheimer.ab.ca.
