DEN BOER Annet Janny 1943 - 2009 With broken and saddened hearts, the family of Mrs. Annet Janny den Boer wishes to announce the passing of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, after a lengthy battle with cancer at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at the age of 66 years. Annet Janny was born on June 2, 1943 in Leeuwarden, Friesland, Holland. She will be most remembered for the love and devotion she had for her Lord and Saviour and her deep and constant commitment to her husband, children, grandchildren and friends. Annet loved the land and was passionate about the farm, gardening, fruit trees and her flowers. Annet will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Cornelis den Boer and their three daughters and families; Geertrui (Trudy) den Boer-Johnson & David Johnson of Clive, Alberta, Janet Grace & Hans Boersma of Penhold, Alberta and Cornelia (Corina) & Michael Ardron of Stony Plain, Alberta. She also leaves to cherish in her memory her eighteen grandchildren. She is survived by a sister from Cocharane, Alberta and two brothers, one in Holland and the other in Kelowna, British Columbia, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Annet was predeceased by her Father and Mother, and a nephew. Relatives and friends are invited to a public viewing at Eventide Funeral Chapel on Monday, June 15, 2009, between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. A Remembrance and Mourning of Annet will be held at Living Stones Church, 2020 - 40 Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Horn Hill Cemetery, Penhold, Alberta.
