Annie STREATCH

STREATCH Annie Janet Streatch arrived on November 14 1921 in Ponoka Alberta born to James & Mary Watson. She passed away June 6, 2008 at the age of 87 in Rocky Mountain House Alberta Annie will be dearly missed by her son, Richard (Linda), grandchildren, Terry Streatch (Larece) of Condor, Tara Lloyd of Bowden and Rob Streatch of Edmonton, great grandchildren Konner, Kendra, Kayle and Everett, brother, George Watson of Ponoka and a great group of nieces & nephews. Her parents, son Lorne, husband Lowrie, and brother, Rob predeceased her. Annie resided in Red Deer until shortly before her passing. After graduating as a psychiatric nurse she began her career at the Provincial Training School where she remained until her retirement. Volunteer projects, clubs, travel and sports kept her happily active. The Rebekah Lodge #77, Pioneer Club, Birthday girls, Senior Summer Games and knitting outfits for new babies were among her favorite activities. She enjoyed attending games, encouraging kids and grandkids in sports and was able to embrace it all in enjoyment to her final days. At Annie's request there will be no service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the charity of choice. Rocky Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Special thanks to the ambulance crew, Red Deer and Rocky Hospital staff.
