MAJERECH Anthony Mark Jan 31, 1946- May 17, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Anthony Majerech from a tragic fall doing one of the things he loved, puttering around his farm. He leaves behind his wife Brenda, son Derek (Sheryl), daughters Trish (Randy) and Joey (Dan), grandchildren; Bryce, Darby, Dylan, Kayla, Alexina and one on the way, brothers John and Alex, sisters Ann, Therese and Stella. Tony was born on January 31, 1946 in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan. He enjoyed a long and prosperous oil industry career for 45 years where he worked overseas and offshore for many years before choosing to primarily work in Northern Alberta to be closer to home. Tony worked diligently up until his stroke, which he courageously conquered his paralysis and was farming as usual with the help of his family. Tony had a passion for farming, fishing and playing cards with all his family and friends. You will always be missed in our hearts and memories, as it is time for you to be with the Lord. Funeral Services will be held from Wilson's Funeral Chapel, 6120 Highway 2A, Lacombe on Friday, May 22, 2009 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Lacombe.
