RICHELHOFF, Anton (Tony)

Oct. 18, 1927 - July 7, 2017


Mr. Anton (Tony) Richelhoff passed away peacefully at Bethany Care Centre, Red Deer at the age of 89.

Anton was a farmer for many years and also owned a farm implement business in Major, Saskatchewan.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Angelina; son Terry (Julie) Richelhoff of St. Albert and their children Kyle and Kent; daughter Bernie (James) Pauly of Victoria, BC and their children Brenna and Ethan; daughter Jeanette (Clayton) Laidler of Red Deer and their children Garrett (Rebecca) and Brett; granddaughter Courtney (Philip) Emke and great granddaughter Piper Emke; two sisters, Rose (Bob) Hannen of St. Catherine's, ON, Amelia Canning of Nanaimo BC as well as many nieces and nephews. Anton was predeceased by daughter Sharon Ann Marsh in 1997; as well as brothers Florian, Fred, Alex, August, Philip, Frank, Joe, Peter and sisters Madelene and Audrey. A prayer service will be held on Wednesday July 12, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Eventide Funeral Home, 4820 - 45 Street, Red Deer. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday July 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St Mary's Catholic Church, 6 McMillan Avenue, Red Deer. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Red Deer Hospice, 99 Arnot Ave, Red Deer, AB T4R 3S6 or Ronald McDonald House 5002 - 39 Street, Red Deer, AB T4N 2P2.
