LITTLE JIM LITTLE APRIL 28 1939 - JUNE 27 2006 Jim Little beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away in the loving arms of his family on June 27 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Millie, Granddaughter Brittany, Daughter Tracy (Chris), numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and Aunt Beau St. Andrews. Jim was predeceased by his son Robbie, daughter Diane, parents William and Josephine Little and sister Diane Beable. Jim was born in Oshawa Ontario on April 28, 1939. He graduated from Western Canada High School in 1955. Jim and Millie (Dubie) were married in 1964 in Calgary where they raised there daughter Tracy. Jim spent his entire career in the Financial Industry , Jim also spent many a summer as a counsellor at Camp GoldEye. When Jim Retired in 1990 they moved to their summer home of 30 years at Half Moon Bay, where Jim sat as Mayor for 3 years and eventually moved into town where they have lived ever since. Jim was a wonderful man who always enjoyed his life and the people in it to the fullest. Jim enjoyed skiing, golfing, curling, boating and walking with his dear senior friends at the Sylvan community centre; Jim and Millie spent many winters at their home in Yuma Arizona. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A very special thanks to Max and his team (Guardian Ambulance) along with the fire medics here at Sylvan for amazing care, consideration and quick response they gave our Jim, there is not enough words to describe our gratitude. Memorial to take place at the Top O' the Hill Golf Course on July 14 at 1:00pm. Donations can be made to the Cancer Society or charity of choice on behalf of Jim Little.
