DENTOOM Arie "Harry" Dentoom was born on November 14th, 1929 in Gouda, Holland and passed away on March 26th, 2007. Harry came to Canada from Holland in 1950 to work on a large fruit farm in Ontario. He moved west and opened Dentoom's Greenhouses in 1954 and operated that business until he retired in 1991. Harry and his wife Jean enjoyed many winters down south until Harry's health failed him three years ago. He is survived by his loving wife, Jean, his two brothers and one sister in Holland, and many nieces and nephews. His grandchildren, Dean and Eric Moe and Julian Bailey. A Celebration of Harry's Life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 - 67A Street, Red Deer, AB on Friday, March 30th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Yoos officiating.
