ARMSTRONG, W. Morris Mr. W. Morris Armstrong of Red Deer, passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Thursday, August 26, 2004 at the age of 81 years. Morris was born on December 11, 1922 at Red Deer, Alberta, where he lived his entire life. He served his Country in World War II positioned in England. After the war, Morris returned to Red Deer and worked for Chrysler Canada at their Red Deer Plant for more than twenty-five years. Morris was a lifetime member of the Red Deer Elks Club and the Royal Canadian Legion. Morris will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered in the hearts of his family and dear friends. Morris leaves to mourn his loss, his loving children, Balfour (Louise) Armstrong of Australia and Laurie (Rene) Grande of Red Deer and his grandchildren, Allison, Alannah, Byron and Angus. He will also be sadly missed by his sister, Helen Wells, his special friend, Linda Watt of Red Deer, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and good friends. Morris was predeceased by a brother, Donald Armstrong. A Celebration of Morris's Life will be held at Gaetz Memorial United Church, 4758 Ross Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with The Reverend Fran Hare officiating. A Private Family Interment will be held at the Red Deer Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta.
