BEECHIN, Arthur Millard

Arthur Millard Beechin was born on January 2, 1943 in Saint John, New Brunswick. He passed away surrounded by his family on March 16, 2017 in Red Deer, Alberta at the age of 74 years.

He loved spending time outdoors, hunting, quading, fishing. He enjoyed bowling and was an avid boxer and baseball player when he was younger. His passion was his family. He loved spending time with us, telling stories, teasing us, big hugs and always letting us know how proud he was to be a Husband, Dad, Grampy and Papa. Dad was a talented carpenter who left his mark on many places and in all our hearts.

He is survived by his loving wife Shirley of 53 years, daughter Cindi, grandson's Brandon and Adam, daughter in law Katelynn and his great grandchildren Asher and Drew, sister Roberta, brothers Kenny and Gerald, sister and brother in laws, nieces and nephews and many great friends.

He is pre-deceased by his daughter Brenda, parents Millard and Florence and his older brother Raymond.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11am on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Gospel Chapel in Sylvan Lake, Alberta.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the nurses, doctors and staff at the Red Deer Hospital Intensive Care Unit. If you so wish donations can be made to the Ronald MacDonald House Charity in Art's name.

Thank you Dad for showing us strength, Integrity, but most of all unconditional love. You will be so missed but never forgotten.
