It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Arthur John Zaporozan following a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Art was 81 years old.
Beloved and devoted husband of Margaret for 60 years, father to Brian (Joy), Beverly and Sheryl; grandfather to Christy (Thomas) Holden, Alexa, Keegan, Natasha (Grant) Massie, and Nathan (Kayla); great-grand father to Leon, Elizabeth, and Declan; brother to Harold (Helen Bechtel) Zaporozan of Kamloops, BC.
A funeral service will be held at St. Herman's Orthodox Church. Due to Covid-19 requirements, this event will be by invitation only.
The family is sincerely grateful to the staff of AHS Palliative Care Program; Alberta Community Paramedic Program personnel; and the wonderful staff at the Red Deer Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made online to Red Deer Hospice Society or The Lending Cupboard (Red Deer) whose equipment we could not have managed without.
