Mom died peacefully on May 9th, 2021 with her family by her side.
She was born in England on September 5th, 1922, immigrated to Canada as a war bride accompanied by her two oldest children in May 1945, travelled across Canada by train and settled in Red Deer.
Mom's greatest passion was her family for whom she would always go to great lengths to help when necessary. Her next passion was travel which she passed on to many of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her three children - Janet Sole of Red Deer, John Sole (Barbara) of La Macaza, Quebec and Alan Sole (Marlene) of Red Deer. She has six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews in Canada and England.
At her request there will be no service. Donations in her name can be made to the charity of your choice.
