GILL Auriol E. Gill of Red Deer passed away at Valley Park Manor on October 16, 2007 at the age of 81 years. Auriol was born in the U.K. on November 21, 1925. She came to Canada with her husband and daughter in 1958. She was a Medical Secretary at Michener Centre from 1958 until 1987 and was greatly admired for her intelligence and work ethics. Auriol was a loving mother and grandmother. She was involved in many organizations such as the Red Cross, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Meals on Wheels, St. Luke's Altar Guild and UNICEF. She was an avid reader and gardener. She was able, with her husband's help, to maintain a comfortable home and a career. She was a lady of beauty, grace and had a great sense of humour. She loved music, art and travel. Auriol always wore beautiful clothes, had perfect nails and loved a well set dining room table. She showed unconditional love to her family and encouraged her children and grandchildren to follow their dreams.
