BALLUM 1932 - 2009 Alfred "AL" Ballum passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday September 8, 2009 at the age of 77 years. Al is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Sandra, his daughters Heather Ballum, of Kelowna, BC, and Janis (Wes) Makofka, of Red Deer, AB. Al's memory will be forever cherished by his grandson Tyler, and granddaughter Jessica, both of Red Deer. Al is also survived by his three sisters; Wilna Warren of Summerside, PEI, Elinor Deacon of London, ON, and Edwina Leonard of Saint John, NB., two brothers; Eric (Joyce) of Summerside, PEI, and Arnold (Shirley) of Prince George, BC., and his mother-in-law Mary Turner. Al was predeceased by his parents; Wanda and George. A Celebration of Life Service for the late Al Ballum will be held TODAY TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 15, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 - 67 A Street, Red Deer, AB.
