Barbara Przybilla

August 2, 1941 - May 27, 2019
It is with great hope and peace that the family announces the passing of Barbara Przybilla on May 27, 2019 at the age of 77 after a brief few days in hospital. She was our beloved and cherished Mom, Oma and Great-Gramma with many wonderful friends and neighbours who loved her beautiful smile, her unending optimism, hospitality, spunk, energy, positive outlook in life, resilience, empathy, always putting her compassion and concern for others before her own needs.
Barbara loved little children and babies, animals, nature, flowers, doing crafts, visiting with friends new and old; playing games, music, singing, dancing and the quiet joys of farm life. Barbara will be always in the heart of her special daughter Cindy of Wetaskiwin, son Mark (Joanne) of Edmonton, daughter Christina (Colin) of Breton; grandsons Connor (Monica); Ryan (Natalie); Cameron (Erin); Mitchel (Elodie); Logan(Summer)and great-grandchildren Ava and Carson.
She will be deeply missed by her older brother Wolfgang Schneider (Ute); sister-in-law Martha Schneider; Ester; several dear nieces, nephews and many friends both here and in Germany. Barbara was predeceased by her deeply loved husband Siegfried; parents Ina and Hugo Schneider; and brothers Joseph and Peter Schneider.
Thank you to the staff at Leduc General Hospital who made her last days comfortable.
Interment of cremated remains will take place at the St. Norbert's Catholic Cemetery in Millet, Alberta on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 1 pm.
A Celebration of Life will follow at the Wayside Inn, in Wetaskiwin at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's memory to the Wetaskiwin and District Association for Community Services.
