BARBERREE Mrs. Edith Barberree of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Rimbey on Friday, January 16, 2009 at the age of 85 years. Edith will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Lloyd (Susan) Barberree of Rimbey; and Dennis Barberree of Vancouver, B.C.; her one daughter, Elaine Barberree (Steve Gilchrist) of Edmonton; as well as two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She will also be lovingly remembered by two sisters, Mildred Neilson of Vernon, B.C.; and Marion Repas of Rimbey; in addition to many nieces and nephews. Edith was predeceased by her parents, Edna and Victor Owen; her beloved husband, Roy on January 13, 2000; and her sister, Wilma Foss. A Public Funeral Service in Celebration of Edith's Life will be held at the Rimbey United Church, Rimbey on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with the Reverend Deborah Laing officiating. Interment will follow in the Iola Fairview Cemetery, Bluffton at 3:30 p.m. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Edith's Memory may be made directly to the Rimbey United Church, Box 7, Rimbey, Alberta T0C 2J0; or to the charity of one's choice.
