BARDENHAGEN Mrs. Mary Bardenhagen, of Eckville, Alberta passed away very quietly and peacefully with her loving family by her side at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Thursday, July 21, 2005 at the age of 94 years. Mary was born on July 11, 1911 at the Gilby Area of Alberta. Mary was the most loving, wonderful, caring and adoring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and cherished friend one could ever ask for. She absolutely loved to sing and her musical talents were a joy for all to behold. Mary was well known for her culinary skills and her cooking was just delicious. She worked as a cook for the Eckville Co-op for many years and was well known for her great pies. Mary just loved people and she loved all the special visits she had with family and friends. She also enjoyed playing scrabble very much until she lost her sight. Mary loved and treasured her family most of all. Mary we love you with all our hearts and we will miss you and “your special big hugs” more than words can express but your love will remain in our hearts forever. Mary leaves to mourn her loss, her loving children, Art and his wife, Shirley of Edmonton, Alberta, Maxine and her husband, Tom Harrison, Dennis and his wife, Dee, all of Red Deer, Gail and her husband, Ron Bruns of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, thirteen grand- children, seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She will also be very sadly missed by her sister, Clara Bremner of White Rock, British Columbia, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear and faithful friends. Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Fred, three brothers and two sisters. A Public Graveside Service will be held at the Gilby Cemetery, Gilby, Alberta at a later date. Cremation entrusted to the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
