BARRON, Aug. 12 1975 - April 15, 2009 After a courageous battle with cancer Darcey Lynn Barron entered into eternal rest, April 15, 2009 with her family at her side. Left to mourn her passing, her lifelong companion Jeff Asham; sons: Joshua and Jordon; loving parents, Wanda and Larry, sisters: Dara (Clayton), Dawn (Jeff ), Darla (Dustin) and special nephews: Carson and Jackson. Also mourning her passing are her grandparents: Ruth and John Lafreniere, and Ethel Barron as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Darcey Lynn was a special friend to Maxine and Jerry Seibel whom she worked for. They became Darcey Lynn's Red Deer family, and took very good care of her. She was predeceased by Grandfather Mike Barron and Uncle Steve Prince. Condolences may be forwarded to the family at: www.parklandfuneralhome.com. A time of visitation was held on Monday, April 20th, 2009 from McKenzie's Portage Funeral Chapel, Portage La Prairie, MB. A Funeral Service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21st, 2009 at the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church in Portage La Prairie, MB. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Darcey Lynne Trust Fund, Portage Credit Union, 19 Royal Rd. N. Portage La Prairie, MB R1N 1T9. In living memory of Darcey Lynn Barron a tree will be planted in the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium Memorial Tree Park, Red Deer County, AB.
