Beatrice MACKAY

MACKAY Beatrice Ann MacKay (Senger) of Red Deer passed away on January 21, 2006 at the age of 69 years after a courageous battle with cancer. Bea was born in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan April 5, 1936 and made Red Deer her home to raise her family with her loving husband Grant. She made many life long friends over the years while working at The Bay and her many years at Bishop's Drugs. She will always be remembered as a wonderful Wife, Mother, Mother-In-Law, Aunt, Sister, Friend and her favorite role as Grandma "B". She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Grant MacKay of Red Deer; her son Steven (Pam) MacKay and their children Jennifer and Nicholas of Red Deer; her daughter Aline (Glenn) Buchanan and their child Malcolm of Fort McMurray; her brother Val (Merle) Senger of Olds; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at the CrossRoads Church (38105 Range Road 275, Red Deer County) on Friday, January 27, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Cross Cancer Institute (11560 University Ave. Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2).
