BECKER, 1925 - 2006 Mr. Elwood Dorn Becker of Red Deer, formerly of the Rimbey Area, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2006 at the age of 81 years. Elwood was born on July 23, 1925 in the Rimbey Area to William and Karen Becker. He farmed west of Rimbey with his wife, Ramona, and they raised six children: Toni, Debra, Laurel, Dorn, Kimberley and Phillip. Elwood is survived by his six children, twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, his sister, Jean Seibel, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Elwood was predeceased by his wife, Ramona, a grandson, Justin, a sister, Violet and brothers, Marvin, Norman, Percy, Phillip and Everett. A Public Funeral Service will be held at the Rimbey United Church, 4931 - 51st Avenue, Rimbey, Alberta on Friday, December 15, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the West Haven Cemetery, West of Rimbey, Alberta.
