LANG-HODGE Anne Elizabeth "Betty" Lang-Hodge passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her five children; Janet Stuffco (Mike), Marilyn Hoffman (Stan), Dereka Thibault (Bill Harker), Brian Lang-Hodge (Brigitte) and Barry Lang-Hodge (Maureen). Betty's' memory will be further cherished by her numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren as well numerous extended family. Her sister, Patricia Smith, also survives her. Betty was predeceased by her husband John Lang-Hodge. Betty grew up in Alberta and had a long career as a teacher. She lived much of her life in the Peace River country where most of her children were born before moving to Red Deer in 1961. Betty loved living at Victoria Park, where she spent her last six years. Funeral services for the late Anne Elizabeth "Betty" Lang-Hodge will be held in the Chapel of the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 - 67A Street (on Taylor Drive, one block north of 67th Street), Red Deer on Tuesday, May 17th, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Red Deer Hospice Society, Box 22015, Red Deer, AB T4N 6X4.
