BELL May January 28, 1910 - February 15, 2009 May passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Nursing Home. She had just celebrated her 99th birthday two weeks earlier with family and friends. She will be missed by her son, John R. Cook and his wife, Peggy; her granddaughter, Diane and her husband, Wilf Foord; her great-grandchildren, Lauren, Brent and David Foord. May was predeceased by grandson, Grant Cook and her husband, Edwin Bell. May and her husband Ed Bell had many wonderful trips in their motor home, touring the U.S. and Alaska. She was an avid bridge player, a super seamstress and knitter. May's great sense of humour was evident to all who knew her. As per May's wishes no funeral service will be held. Condolences may be forwarded to the family at www.parklandfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, #6, 5015 - 48 Street, Red Deer, AB T4N 1S9. In living memory of May Bell, a tree will be planted in the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium Memorial Tree Park, Red Deer County, AB.
