ACTON HENRI CHALU Beloved husband of (Margeurite) Peggy Chalu passed away December 31, 2005 at Sable Palms in Clearwater, Florida. The son of Sidney and Florence Chalu, Acton was born in Chicago on June 26, 1920. The family moved to Montreal, then Winnipeg, where Acton was schooled, then graduated as a chartered accountant from the University of Manitoba. Acton married Ruth Honebine and they located in Cleveland, where their children were born. In 1970 they moved to St. Petersburg, Florida where he became the Administrator of Bay Front Medical Centre. He was predeceased by Ruth in 1986. Acton married Peggy Garrett of Red Deer on October 17, 1990. They lived happily between Red Deer and St. Pete Beach, Florida. Acton is survived by his wife Peggy (Red Deer). his son Wayne (Cyndee) and daughters Carol and Lauren (Jimmy) of Florida, stepdaughter Jocelyn Neis (George) of Red Deer, Gordon Garrett (Maura) of Courtney, BC and Guy Garrett (Michelle) of Sylvan Lake. Acton was an active member and elder of Garden Crest Presbyterian Church in St. Petersburg. He was the Chairman of the South Pinella County Chapter of the American Red Cross.
