VILLENEUVE, BEN MATTHEW 1981- 2007 Ben Matthew Villeneuve of Red Deer, beloved son and brother, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2007. Forever loved, and sadly missed by his parents Ron and Carole Villeneuve, his sisters, Jennifer (Chad) Lewis, Amy (Kevin) Van Vliet, and two adoring nephews, Ethan and Tristan Van Vliet, his grandparents, Doreen and Vern Peterson, and Roger Villeneuve. Ben will be fondly remembered by his special Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, friends and his big old dawg Nike. Waiting for him in heaven is his grandma, Stella Villeneuve, and his grandpa, Thomas Richmond. Ben was born on October 19, 1981. Growing up in Red Deer, Ben was involved in soccer, French Dancing, cubs, Suzuki piano, band, diving, lifeguarding and the Marlin Swim Club. He developed an interest in skiing, acting, wrestling, rugby and school newspaper. Ben loved to read. Ben attended Red Deer College to pursue a helping career in Social Work. He began exploring many faith paths, including Christianity and Buddhism. Ben found peace in meditation and writing poetry. Ben's Mom and Dad hugged him everyday and send hugs with him to heaven. Benny, this world was never meant for one as beautiful as you. A Celebration of Ben's Life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820-45 Street, Red Deer, on Friday, June 8, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to Central Alberta Crematorium.
