BENDER

BENDER 1967 – 2009 Sheldon Wayne Bender was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan on February 2, 1967. He lived in Fort McMurray, Alberta most of his life and moved to Sylvan Lake, Alberta in 2006. Sheldon passed away at the Royal Alexander Hospital in Edmonton on January 1, 2009. He had a long hard battle with illness all of his life. Sheldon enjoyed life to the fullest when he could. He loved music, played guitar and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a fine artist and left behind many beautiful wood carvings and wood burning pieces for us to enjoy. He was a heavy equipment operator and worked for Blue Grass Sod Farms at Sylvan Lake. Sheldon will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Amber (Chris) Bourret, his parents; Joan & Wayne Bender, his sister, Dawn Marie (Oral) Hawkins, his nephew, Cole Hawkins, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. At Sheldon's request, there will be no service.
